Personal opinion and with all due respect to other rappers in Nigeria, but I think M.I is in a class of his own. I think he's not just the best rapper in Nigeria, he's the best rapper in Africa. Like, he's not even on anyone's level. He shouldn't even be on this list. We should be comparing M.I to Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar and the likes and not Olamide or Phyno. That's my personal opinion. What do you think of the list? Who agrees with it? Some Nigerian rappers don't. See their tweets after the cut.

Y'all remmeber the show that held in Bayelsa in June where Cossy treated Eedris Abdulkareem to an erotic lap dance while he performed on stage? (If you missed it, read it HERE). Well, a few blogs reported this weekend that Cossy said Eedris begged her for sex after the performance.
Eedris must have heard the rumours because he took to twitter a few hours ago to slam Cossy, calling her an old b**ch. Thing is; Cossy swears she never said anything like that. She said all Eedris did was encourage her music career and said she hasn't set eyes on him since the show.

“Following the success of the original song Ghetto, which has won 2 awards already; best pop video at the Nigerian Music Video Awards (NMVA) 2012 and music video of the year at the Nigeria Entertainment Awards (NEA) 2013, Shank drops Ghetto Remix ft Seun Kuti, Davido, Kayswitch and Vector.
As you know, the original was a huge success which enjoyed major airplay all over Nigeria as well as in the UK, Malaysia, South Africa, Dubai, Ghana and Benin Republic. However, it wasn’t enough, hence the need to produce the remix.
After pondering over the idea for over a year, Seun Kuti, Davido, Vector and Kayswitch were called upon to add their artistic skills since they are all masters in this game. All 4 of them came with loads of hits behind them to bless the track while Shank laced the original chorus with a few bars and of course Sarz on the decks lacing out the beat as usual and Dr Frabz helped with the mixing and mastering.
To drop a remix like no other “Mother of all remixes”, Patrick Elis who shot the video in the ghetto and urban parts of Lagos and added another creative ghetto element to this master-piece. The cameos in this project doubled the original. They include General Pype, B-red, Ghetto P, Dr Frabz, Npz, Ice-berg Slim, Danagog, Efa, Pelli, Deevee (db-records), Moblow to mention a few.
Ghetto remix is street/club/afro-beat/pop and with 5 of the most talented artistes in Nigeria, fans are in for a treat. This video is sure to capture their attention have them hitting the replay button.”

DAVIDO FURIOUS OVER FORBES SNUB
Davido has taken to his twitter handle to express disappointment in the forbes list of top 10 bankable African celebrities, leaving his
name from the list.
He posted on his twitter handle "Forbes Balu" words which looks like a diss to Forbes for leaving him out of a list which has his arch rival Wizkid on it.
A fan replied him saying, "Apparently forbes aren't talking about artistes who inherited their father's wealth"
This obviously got at him and he retweeted, "Why be mad that my pops got money! Sorry ain't my fault! Focus on the music! Damn, shits get annoying."
Well, I have some words of advice for my guy Davido, never worry you will also be recognised when the time is right.
Financial magazine Forbes in conjunction with ” Channel O” released the list of African Top 10 richest African musicians for 2013. The ranking is based on artist sales, social media presence, endorsement value , YouTube views, show rates influence, appearance in newspapers, investments , popularity and other factors.
(1) AKON– Senegalese-American top the list — Founder of Konvict Music, opened doors with other African artiste such as P-Square and Wizkid .
(2) DON JAZZY – Rank as Best African and Nigeria Music Producer. CEO Mavin Records, Samsung, Loyal Milk and MTN as their brand ambassador, influential producer. Having producer songs for D’Banj, Kanye West, Beyonce and American rap mogul Jay Z on production credit. See list after the cut:
(3) P SQUARE – Ranked as Best African Music Group. Featured on Forbes magazine for Africa twice, sold out concert, presidential guest in at least 5 African countries, they fly private jet.

Freeze CoolFM and TeeBillz don't agree with the Forbes African list
According to a recent Forbes African list, Don Jazzy, P-Square, D'Banj, Wizkid, 2face Idibia, Ice Prince and Banky W are Africa's most bankable artists (from Nigeria). Top radio host, Freeze Coolfm does not agree with the list and expressed this on Twitter. Tiwa Savage's manager & fiancee, Teebillz also thinks Tiwa was missing on the list. See more Below;
